Privacy Policy

PreciseDevs (“we”, “us”) is the talent bridge operated from Pakistan and powered by harishere.com. This policy explains — in plain language — exactly what data we collect, why, and what we will never do with it. Questions any time: contact@precisedevs.com.

1. What we collect

Account data

• Name / company name, email address, and a password (stored only as a secure hash — we cannot see it).
• Talent track, specializations, skills, experience level, price/quality/speed preferences.
• Consent records: the date and version of the Terms you accepted at registration.

Profile content you choose to publish

• Headline, bio, city and country, portfolio / GitHub / LinkedIn links, rate note, profile photo and banner.
• For companies: website, LinkedIn page, industry and size — required so developers only ever meet real companies.

Private data that is never shown publicly

• Contact details — phone and WhatsApp numbers are visible only to the PreciseDevs matching team, never on any public page.
• CVs — stored in a locked directory that has no public URL. Only you and the PreciseDevs team can download your CV. Other users never see it.
• Payout details — if you are an affiliate, the JazzCash / EasyPaisa / bank details you submit for payouts are visible only to you and the administrator.

Activity data

• Applications, introduction requests, job posts, and their statuses — this is the core of the matching service.
• Hire and fee records — when a hire succeeds we record the parties, the flat success fee, and its payment status. These are financial records and are retained for bookkeeping.
• Affiliate ledger — referral events, commission entries and payout history, kept append-only for full transparency.

Technical data

• Cookies: a session cookie when you log in (WordPress standard), a pd_ref cookie for 60 days when you arrive through an affiliate link (it remembers which affiliate referred you), and your light/dark theme preference stored in your own browser.
• Referral click logs: when you open an affiliate link we log the date, landing page, referrer domain and share channel. Your IP address is never stored raw — only a salted one-way hash used to count unique visits and stop abuse.
• Analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic. Administrator visits are excluded. GA4 sets its own cookies; see Google’s privacy documentation.

2. How we use your data

• Matching — connecting the right developer with the right company is the entire product.
• Mediated introductions — when you apply or request an intro, our team shares your relevant profile and contact details with the other side. This only happens after your explicit action; browsing never reveals your contacts.
• Job alerts — daily emails about roles matching your specializations. Opt out any time from your profile.
• Fee administration — issuing success-fee invoices, matching payments by reference code, and keeping honest books.
• Affiliate program — attributing referred companies to the right affiliate and paying commissions.
• Security — rate limiting, spam traps and fraud checks that protect every user.

3. What we never do

• We never sell, rent or trade your data. To anyone. Ever.
• We never show your phone, WhatsApp, email or CV on a public page.
• We never send your data to third parties except the processors that make the service run: our hosting provider, our email delivery service, and Google Analytics.
• We never store raw IP addresses in affiliate click logs — only salted hashes.

4. Retention

• Account and profile data: kept while your account is active, deleted on request.
• Hire, fee and affiliate ledger records: retained as financial records even if the linked account is deleted, with personal fields minimized.
• Referral click logs: aggregate counts kept indefinitely; per-click rows pruned periodically.

5. Your rights

Email contact@precisedevs.com from your registered address to: get a copy of your data, correct anything, delete your account and all personal data, or object to a specific use. We act within 7 working days and confirm when done.

6. Security

HTTPS everywhere, hashed passwords, strong password policy, locked CV storage with owner-only download proxy, honeypot and time-trap protection on every public form, per-IP rate limits, and manual human review of every introduction. No system is perfect, but every layer here exists to keep your data boring to attackers.

7. Age

PreciseDevs is for users 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.

8. Changes

If this policy changes materially we update the date at the top and announce it on the Updates page. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
